AdLife Points

Sample IndicatorsAdLife Points are a consistent quantification of your cardio activity.

The points awarded for your cardio exercise are based on:

  • The quantity: measured by duration.
  • The quality: measured by your exercise heart rate.

These two elements are required for you to improve in fitness and attain & maintain a healthy weight and other benefits.

You are an individual

Think of yourself versus your friends or work colleagues and you will see each of us have a unique combination of elements including our genetics, lifestyle, preferred foods & drinks. The list is long.

These elements affect you in regard to how much cardio activity you need to achieve:

  • Your goals
  • The good health parameters defined by research and promoted by heart, diabetes and cancer groups.

AdLife Points – Your Wellbeing

AdLife points are a steady state of feedback. They interact with your state of wellbeing. By way of example for weight maintenance:

  • An individual that has an energy balance between calorie intake and expenditure may require 35 pts a week.
  • Versus an individual who has an energy imbalance. Consuming more energy (calories) in their diet (food and drink) may require 50 pts.

Wellbeing and AdLife point interaction

Various research studies suggest a workout duration, frequency and intensity that are equivalent to approximately 50 points per week.

Once you attain the 50 points per week and maintain that consistently for 12 weeks you can evaluate how you feel along with where you sit in comparison to your goals.

Our AdLife Advisory service provides guidance to your goals based on activity and achievement rates.

No skill required

Cardio activity, the basis of the AdLife point system is not skill based. You do not have to be a skilled or experienced walker, jogger or swimmer, etc. All you need to do is exercise in the AdLife A or B comfort zones and you will receive all the benefits. Your AdLife comfort zones are tailored to your age and your level of fitness for each activity.
