AdLife point inputs
Your software performs a calculation based on your inputs. These inputs are your exercise heart rates and the duration of the activity period.
Using a digital watch it easy to learn how to monitor your heart rate during exercise. Here is one part of a series which shows you how to measure 6 seconds and count your exercise heart rate.
You can automate this process by purchasing a heart rate monitoring watch which are available at various price levels depending on there features.
A & B Points
There are two levels of points. Your AdLife Software classifies each session based on your energy level output in the activity session, based on your activity heart rate.
Monitoring your energy output to predetermined levels ensures you exercise within the AdLife comfort zones.
It also ensures you receive maximum benefits:
- Activities that are too intense, above the A point zone, do not produce additional general fitness benefit, just discomfort
- Activities that are too low, under the B point zone, do not promote any cardio conditioning gains.
If you are targeting fat loss exercising in the lower B point zone is recommended.
No skill required
Cardio activity, the basis of the AdLife point system is not skill based. You do not have to be a fast walker, jogger or swimmer, etc. All you need to do is exercise in the AdLife A or B comfort zones and you will receive all the benefits.
Your AdLife comfort zones are tailored to your age and by virtue of monitoring your exercise heart rate is also tailored to your fitness level for any cardio activity you undertake.
