The Profile is your first step when you commence with Life Advantage and establishes your activity level/history, your health status and goals.

Advice on where to Start

Your starting point within Life Advantage is recommended by our Advisory service by combining your:

  • Goals and objectives
  • The results of your profile

The selection of your activity level needs to maintain your life balance of home, social, work, family and essential life fitness, etc.

The software allows you to easily shift your activity days while keeping the appropriate number of activity sessions to achieve your goals.

Guidance and advice

Your use of the AdLife Software allows our Advisory Service to review:

  • Your goals and objectives
  • Your activity plan
  • And your actual activity

From these observations guidance and advice is offered.

Specific benefit targeting

The features of the AdLife software allow you to target specific benefits including:

  • Those exercise benefits as recommended by the Cancer Institute, Heart Foundation, Diabetes Australia and Australian Government National Physical Activity Guidelines for Adults.
  • Help promote psychological wellbeing
  • Cardiovascular fitness, sometimes known as aerobic fitness which increases your energy levels
  • Reduce the risk of some cancers and the development or management of Type II diabetes.
  • Weight loss and attainment of a healthy weight.
  • Help prevent heart disease, stroke and high blood pressure.
  • Muscular conditioning, which helps increase metabolic rate; the rate at which you use calories, as well as many other benefits
  • Help build and maintain healthy bones, muscles and joints.

What activities can you do to get these benefits?

The 2 types of activities that provide these benefits are:

  • Any activity that can consistently keep your heart rate raised to the AdLife Point and Comfort Zones. These include walking, stationary cycling, cardio gym classes, swimming, etc.
  • Any resistance exercises that allow your muscles to be exercised. There are hundreds of standard workout programs which you can select by the benefit you would like to achieve. The programs are designed for use with no equipment, minimal equipment and full equipment access.

Tools to keep you on track

The software and your personal AdLife InfoLink have many unique reporting elements which allow you to review your actual activity versus your plan

Our experience has shown this to be very motivational.

The tools allow you to look at your current month performance and separately in a month by month summary form.

Displays include:

  • Your planned versus your actual activity at any point in time
  • AdLife Points which quantify your Cardio activity and interact with your Cardio fitness level and general life fitness improvement
  • AdLife Calorie burn that interacts with healthy eating and fat loss strategies

Specialised knowledge for your benefit

Life Advantage itself is inspired by the same elements that drive good sports performance, as sports performance is in part about physical conditioning and nutrition.

Every good sports person has:

  • A plan by which to achieve their goal
  • Records of their activity (training) sessions

As a means of efficiency good sports people review their activities to ensure they are progressing satisfactorily towards their goal.

The Sports Specialists involved with Life Advantage use these exact principles. As the Founder of Life Advantage I used these principles to achieve Olympic and Commonwealth Games representation, records and medals. So I appreciate this researched and learned process.

Get more results from your exercising

As a current exerciser Life Advantage will provide:

  • Methods to potentially get more benefit out of your current programming or as a way to introduce new programming.
  • More scope for variation. For example if you are working out in a gym you can complement your gym workouts with sessions outside the gym. Particularly good if your gym is not close to home.

There are hundreds of standard programs that feature different performance levels from which can choose as they cater to all experience levels and benefits.

These programs have been developed by our exercise physiology team so you may find these useful to complement your own workout strategies.

The software has also been designed to accommodate almost any style of programming. The MyProgam function of the software will take you through the set up of your favourite activities.
